Curriculum

Pancasila (the state ideology) is taught in primary schools in Indonesia, along with a variety of other subjects such language proficiency, literacy, religious studies, mathematics, geography, civic education, national and global history, sciences, physical and health knowledge, and many more. Bahasa Indonesia, the national language of Indonesia, is typically used for classroom education. In primary schools with an Islamic curriculum, students take an extra course on the tenets and customs of Islam. Prior to enrolling in secondary school, pupils are required to take a national exam and their school's final exam at the conclusion of primary school.

Clean Surroundings

  • Students will look around the classroom and check if the classroom is clean

Action Song

  • Students will dance along to the song "Cleaning The House" by KIDSA English


Main Activities: Cognition

This or That

  • Students will choose between two pictures with one showing a cleanliness and one showing a dirtiness.

Puzzle

  • The students will solve a 4-piece puzzle and paste it to a paper.

Color the Cleaning Materials

  • The students will identify the cleaning materials and will have to color it.


Main Activities: Culture

Students will learn about the English, Bahasa, and Javanese terms of the materials used for keeping the house clean.


Main Activities: Communication

Brainstorming - Students will brainstorm on ways on how to keep the house clean.
